About Speech & Language Dublin
Speech and Language Dublin was founded by Aoife O’Reilly and specialises in providing a private speech and language therapy service to adults with communication difficulties and swallowing difficulties (dysphagia). We currently provide our services to clients in the greater Dublin Area from the comfort of the client’s home or care facility.
Speech and Language Dublin’s main aim is to provide a reliable service that can be accessed quickly. We strive to listen to and understand our clients’ needs and goals and to ensure that our clients and their loved ones understand the changes in their communication/swallow. Our top priority is to educate, advise and support our clients and their families in a professional and compassionate way.
Aoife is a senior speech and language therapist, who for more than six years has specialised in working with clients with speech, language and swallowing difficulties across hospital, rehabilitation and long-term care settings in Dublin. Aoife is also passionate about working with clients with progressive neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neuron Disease etc.
Aoife O’Reilly is a Trinity College Dublin graduate with a degree in Clinical Speech and Language Studies. She also achieved a Masters degree in dysphagia (swallowing difficulties) and had published research in this specialist area.
Aoife is a member of the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists (IASLT), the Independent Speech Therapists of Ireland (ISTI), is an LSVT LOUD Certified Clinician and is CORU registered.
